Brock Bevell
Religion Versus Relationship
In “Religion Versus Relationship,” we’ll dive into the powerful difference between simply showing up to church and truly living a life with Christ—all from the unique perspective of an undercover police officer. In this talk, we’ll explore what it looks like to go beyond religious routine and embrace a real, transformative relationship with Jesus. Through stories from life on the streets, I’ll share how the shift from religion to relationship changed everything. As an officer, I was trained to see behind the surface, and faith is no different. Religion can sometimes feel like checking boxes—going to church, following rules. But a true relationship with Christ goes deeper, transforming us from the inside out. It brings clarity, purpose, and strength in the face of life’s toughest moments. Join us as we unpack how developing a personal connection with Jesus can change your life just as it did mine. If you’ve felt like faith was just another duty or wondered if there’s more, come see what a life lived with Christ truly looks like.
